i am certainly looking forward to future installments of 'house of a thousand doors.' the terrific spectacle of the peshtigo inferno (a real catastrophe) makes it easy to suspend disbelief for the bizarre situation of the house's resident. a thought-provoking blend of fiction and nonfiction!

I've got the next installment more or less planned. I'm going over the notes I've collected during the past month or two and deciding just how I'm going to focus and structure it. I should probably have a draft for review in 1-3 weeks. It will be on burial in Paris--Innocents, Pere Lachaise and the catacombs mainly.
