Hardboiled, shading into gothic, science fiction--this one has some of my favorite ingredients: a mazelike structure, a monster, an interrogation and a mystery.

Or does it?
Don't forget the laser guns and the Michael Biehn references.

I totally missed the Michael Biehn references. This opens a whole new dimension of the story.

i didn't want to trumpet my nerditude, but i noticed this right away.
'hicks' was biehn's space-marine role in aliens, and 'reece' was his character in the terminator.

stay tuned for jp's next tale, 'attack of the frankenbiehns' (inspired by mary shelley and michael biehn).

The chiselled good looks are my own.

Actually, it's going to be high fantasy. "Lord of the Films: Fellowship of Michael Biehn". First part of a trilogy.
